Terms and Conditions for the “Layita Khayelitsha” Campaign by inDrive

 

Campaign Period:

The “Layita Khayelitsha” campaign will run from November 24, 2023, to February 29, 2024. These dates mark the official campaign period during which all campaign-related activities will take place.

 

Promoter:

The promoter of the “Layita Khayelitsha” campaign is Activent PTY Ltd, hereinafter referred to as “the Promoter.”

 

Brand:

The brand associated with this campaign is inDrive, hereinafter referred to as “the Brand.”

 

Campaign Name:

The campaign shall be referred to as “Layita Khayelitsha.”

 

Campaign Outcome:

The primary objective of the “Layita Khayelitsha” campaign is to contribute to the lighting of the Khayelitsha community in South Africa. For every 2000 streams of Layita Khayelitsha on the designated streaming platforms, which include Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube, one (1) light will be installed towards the goal of illuminating the community with a total cap of 70 lights. Any streams of Layita Khayelitsha beyond this threshold will not obligate the Company, Brand, or Promoter to install additional lighting.

 

Maintenance:

Upon the successful installation of the lights in the Khayelitsha community, the Company will provide maintenance and upkeep of the installed lights for a period of 12 months post-installation. Any necessary repairs and maintenance during this period will be the responsibility of the Company, ensuring the longevity and functionality of the installed lights.

 

Additional Terms and Conditions:

 

Eligibility: This campaign is open to residents and users of the specified streaming platforms in South Africa. Participants must be at least 18 years of age to take part in the campaign.

 

Streaming Period: Streams will be counted between the period of November 24, 2023, and January 31, 2024, inclusive. Any streams made outside of this specified period will not be counted towards the campaign goal.

 

Installation: The installation of lights will take place one month prior to the official campaign period, during the month of February 2024. The exact installation date will be communicated to the public and the community in advance.

 

Light Specifications: The lights installed as part of this campaign will be solar-powered LED lights, which are energy-efficient and environmentally friendly.

 

Community Collaboration: The installation of lights will be carried out in collaboration with the Khayelitsha community. The community will be actively involved in the planning and execution of this initiative, ensuring that the campaign benefits the community as intended.

 

Disqualification: Any attempts to manipulate the stream count, engage in fraudulent activities, or violate the terms and conditions will result in immediate disqualification from the campaign.

 

Privacy: Personal information collected from participants will be used for campaign-related purposes only and will not be shared with third parties.

 

Force Majeure: The Company, Brand, and Promoter shall not be held responsible for any delays, interruptions, or cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, technical issues, or acts of God.

 

Amendments: The Company and Promoter reserve the right to amend or modify the terms and conditions of the campaign, as well as the campaign outcome, if necessary, to ensure the successful execution of the campaign.
